Elis meets (some of) the Casa Rosa gang

Hi everyone! Elis here, reporting on my most recent mission: to seek out and take photos with the Casa Rosa gang, wherever they may be living now.

Final report summary: Mission accomplished, except for those pesky gangsters who live in out-of-the-way places like Halifax! Bonus photos of Casa Rosa monkey below.

Departure point: Whitehorse International Airport.

First stop: Vancouver. (First targets quickly encountered on Commercial Drive.)

No time to waste - off to the Vancouver airport...

Found the bagels...now where are those Casa Rosa people hiding in Montreal?

Looked who rolled into town on a cross-Canada electric bike journey just as we arrived!

Café chez Sarom

Quick stop to change my disguise and grab a bite to eat at a Montreal café....

...with wireless internet so that I could update my mission logbook.

New toy - that is, GPS navigation system indicating location of one J. M. - courtesy of Chee

Quick Greyhound trip - I mean, reconnaissance mission - to Ottawa to find our favourite redheaded civil servant. Easy target - in addition to the GPS system, I was given the following clue: "Follow the laugh to the house with the green fish...."

Report on prime minister's whereabouts logged...now on to more interesting targets!

Next stop: return to Montreal to follow up on new tip about another potential target. Unnamed sources indicate that she may have links to the Casa Rosa, although she poses as an upstanding government lawyer. Will deport somewhere far away and "cross-examine" in order to confirm this story.

Montreal mission accomplished - on to Toronto!

Do you recognize this monkey?

Yep, it's the one and only Jimby, and his newly-married friend Stephanie, in their Toronto apartment.

I think that's enough top-secret work for one week; maybe I'll just hang out here with Jimby for a while....

Note to readers of this top-secret report: three (3) suspects were located but eluded photos. Alice and Aftab were discovered having dinner at Alice's Vancouver eco-apartment and Kevin L-Y was found in Toronto claiming to be too "sick" to go to work. Please submit photos and comments detailing the whereabouts of any other persons suspected of links to the Casa Rosa gang.

Julie and Chee, sitting in the snow

So just to show that even two hours (of driving) can't keep us apart, here's the latest update to the Julie-Chee saga. Last weekend we braved the US border and headed into the Adirondacks to do some winter camping... just like old??? times.
